Dr. Kathleen Mackenzie is an award-winning Clinical Social Worker, Senior Lecturer in the Behavioral Science and Applied Nutrition Programs at Northeastern University, and the Special Education Supervisor of Clinical and Behavioral Services for the New Bedford Public Schools. Dr. Mackenzie has nearly 30 years of clinical experience and a lived experience with bipolar disorder. She publicly shares her remarkable journey toward health and stability, and educates others on how to leverage the power of biochemistry to achieve wellness. Dr. Mackenzie believes the health, mental health, and alternative health fields should be integrated in ways that provide increased access to comprehensive treatments for people from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
